The Wauwatosa West girls took third in the six-team Shorewood Early Season Invitational on Aug. 26 at Kern Park.
The Trojans' Mackenzie Hoffman led the way, as their squad had four top-20 finishes.
Hoffman ran a 16 minute, 21 second, race to finish fifth, and Katelyn Hronek was right behind her at ninth (16:39), giving the Trojans two top-10 performances.
Maggie Boyle was 15th (17:06) and Brigid Jensen took 17th (17:08) to round out the top-20 finishes for Tosa West.
Samantha Jurkowski finished out the top-five Trojans runners, taking 24th in 17:55. Hannah Wishart and Casey Grabow were 26th (18:04) and 29th (18:26), respectively.
Muskego won the event with 38 points, followed by Whitnall (61), Tosa West (70), DeForest (75), Divine Savior Holy Angels (132) and Shorewood (150).
