Milwaukee Washington's reshuffled lineup proved to be the answer for every challenge Wauwatosa West presented in a regional final Saturday night. The Purgolders had four players score 15 points or more to end the Trojans' season.

Host Oak Creek defeated Wauwatosa East, 53-29, in the opening round of the WIAA tournament March 9.

Boys basketball: Wauwatosa West vs. Milwaukee Washington

Host Milwaukee Washington defeated Wauwatosa West, 78-67, in a regional final March 6.

Boys basketball: South Milwaukee vs. Wauwatosa West

The Wauwatosa West boys basketball team defeated South Milwaukee, 67-57, in the first round of the WIAA Division 1 tournament on March 2.

Girls basketball: Wauwatosa West vs. Wauwatosa East

Wauwatosa West's Jackie Glaser scored 21 points to lead her team past host East in a non-conference game Feb. 10.

Boys swimming: Woodland Conference Meet

Greenfield High School hosted the Woodland Conference swim meet in its new pool Feb. 6. Shorewood was first with 474 points.

Wrestling: Woodland Conference Tournament

Whitnall High School hosted the Woodland Conference wrestling tournament on Feb. 6. Pewaukee was first with 221 points.

Wauwatosa West won its fourth straight game -- and seventh out of eight -- Friday night at Whitnall, defeating the Falcons 62-57 on Feb. 5.
