A pants-less man did his best to maintain a little modesty as he led police on a short foot chase Sunday morning.
According to the Wauwatosa police report:
A man outside Bluemound Laundry, 6110 W. Bluemound Road, flagged down an officer prior to 7 a.m. to report that a man inside was naked. Sure enough, when the officer looked insid, he saw a man wearing only a shirt.
When the officer entered the business, the man began walking away, covered up his genitals with clothes he had just removed from the dryer, and ran out the back door.
The officer chased the man, his "bare buttocks" in view for a while. Police eventually found him in a yard in the 500 block of North 61st Street, but by that time he had put his clothes back on.
The Milwaukee man, 29, was arrested for disorderly conduct.
He told police he needed to wash his clothes after falling down a hill and that he had tried to stay out of sight in the corner of the building.
